Subscription terms
- PennyWrite Pro Annual costs $29.99 per year. PennyWrite Pro Monthly costs $4.99 per month. Prices are in US dollars; local prices are shown in the App Store.
- The Annual plan starts with a 14-day free trial. The trial converts to a paid annual subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase (or when the free trial ends).
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions) at any time after purchase.
- PennyWrite Pro Lifetime ($59.99) is a one-time purchase that does not renew.
- One purchase unlocks PennyWrite Pro on both iPad and Mac when they use the same Apple ID. Use Restore Purchases in the app on a new device.

Pricing questions
What happens to my writing if I stop paying?
Your writing is always yours. It lives in your own files (on your device or in your cloud folder), so you can open and copy it whatever happens to your subscription.
Is it the same purchase on iPad and Mac?
Yes. Buy PennyWrite Pro once through the App Store and it works on both iPad and Mac with the same Apple ID.
How do refunds work?
App Store purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. For PennyWrite for Mac bought directly on this site, email support@pennywrite.com within 14 days for a full refund.
Does Pro include Story Coach?
Yes. Story Coach is built in with PennyWrite Pro and with PennyWrite for Mac bought directly: up to 50 questions a day. If you prefer Claude, you can use your own Anthropic API key instead.
